About the event
While the highs of my career are visible to everyone on my LinkedIn profile, I wish there was a better way to capture the lows and how they were tackled. The unseen victories along the path have been just as significant.Â
Over the past decade, my career journey in the US has been filled with highs and lows. From harassment and discrimination to pay gaps, bias, and lack of growth opportunities, I've faced numerous obstacles. I've dealt with overperforming and being underpaid, bad managers, bullying, burnout, stress, imposter syndrome, and the grueling immigration process with its long waits and limited support.
Yet, through all these challenges, I discovered my resilience. Even in my darkest moments, when giving up seemed like the easiest option, I chose to fight. I chose to pave my own way, to own and drive my career in ways that mattered to me. While there are things I wish I had done differently, these experiences have shaped who I am today.
Join me for an honest and transparent session where I'll share my 10-year journey, the lessons I've learned, and how I've grown. I'll also answer questions to help help you navigate similar challenges and achieve your career goals.Â
